Incidence and use of unusual substances documented

The annual IDMU drug-user surveys list one of the most commonly-found drugs so as to monitor consumption styles, attitudes and costs. In addition participants are asked to mention any other medications they have taken as ‘write-in; options using unknown paper or web-based questionnaires. This report illustrates the substances normally listed by customer survey respondents, or like this source that could be of particular fascination to researchers. Substances include ‘traditional’ medicines, ethnobotanicals, legal highs and ‘research chemicals’.
